PHONETIC CHARACTERISTICS IN THE SPEECH OF VILLAGE BRNJICA IN NORTHEASTERN BOSNIA
Abstract
This paper deals with the analysis of phonetic characteristics in the speech of village Brnjica in the northeastern Bosnia. Inventory of phonemes, their pronunciation and phonological alternations are observed. The descriptive method of tradicional dialectology will be used in the analysis. The goal of the work is description of phonetic and phonological characteristics of the speech, and also determinating its relation to other adjacent ijekavian speeches in Bosnia.
