SLAVICISM IN LUKIJAN MUŠICKI POETRY

Abstract

This work presents the slavicisms in the poems of poet and Archimandrite Lukijan Mušicki (written in „slavic”, and in the vernacular). The aim of this work is the creation of the vocabulary and testing word formation and semantic features of “slavic words” in the language of poetic works of mentioned writer. The task of research is to present and analyze the most prevalent prefixes and suffixes in the corpus of studied songs. The most frequent Russian variant of Church Slavonic, Russian and Serbo-Slavic prefixes and suffixes in slavicisms of Lucian Mušicki are extracted. In the analysis of lexical items, slavicisms with lexicalized Russian variant of Church Slavonic phonemes at root or basis, on the one hand and with the grammatical Serbian extensions, on the other hand, were recorded.

This paper presents an inventory of graphemes which served the most important representative of the Parnassian Serbian classicism and his views on the literary language of the Serbs.
